RACE TEAM

The HIGH SCHOOL TEAM is an abbreviated program for those athletes wishing to train with the Loveland Race Team in addition to their own High School Team.  The program is a one-day a week opportunity beginning in the fall and going through to the High School State Championship (usually mid Feb).  Athletes can continue after State Championships, for an additional fee (through mid April).

 

Tuition: $950

 

Add-ons

Early Season Dry Land-from after Labor Day to when area opens.  Two days a week plus a weekend activity held in a variety of locations.  $50

 

Summer- from right after ski area closes through Labor Day.  Includes an evaluation by the coach, a personal training plan, mid-season “checkup” as well as a variety of training activities three days a week.  Examples of activities are mountain biking, road biking, soccer, mountain climbing.  $200

 

The Staff

The coaching staff is under the direction of C.B. Bechtel who has more than 20 years of experience directing and building ski racing programs. The Head Coach is Joe Downing. He is also a Level 3 coach with over 15 years of coaching experience to lead the club.  Our coaching philosophy is to work hard, have fun and win races.
